Commissioner submits call for evidence to Parliament's Criminal Justice Committee
The Scottish Biometrics Commissioner, Dr Brian Plastow has submitted a response to a call for evidence by the Scottish Parliament Justice Committee as part of its pre-budget scrutiny.
In his response, the Commissioner highlights siloed working, and calls for more joined up thinking (and budgets) across the criminal justice ecosystem in Scotland. He also highlights how under investment in police capital budgets translate into under-provision of important technologies such as body worn video. His full response can be read here:
